Want an early look at what’s coming to American CME?
We’re starting the American CME Preview Panel — a small group of EMS professionals who preview new courses and formats before they launch. Members occasionally join a live session or complete a short survey (a few hours a year), and receive free access to select CAPCE-accredited courses as a thank you.
Our first Preview Panel Opportunity is July 27, 2026.
We’re inviting 10 paramedics from the ACME Preview Panel to preview a brand-new format for American CME: a Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course — a live, fully interactive virtual classroom, not a recorded video or a one-way webinar.
The course for this preview is Introduction to Electrocardiography for Absolute Beginners, taught by Jerry W. Jones, MD, FACEP, FAAEM, of Medicus of Houston, who has been teaching ECG interpretation to physicians internationally for more than 40 years. You’ll get a 1-hour preview of both the format and his teaching.
A few details so you know what you’re signing up for:
– Date and time: Monday, July 27 at 11 AM ET
– Length: about 1 hour
– Camera on for the full session, and a working microphone — the live two-way interaction is the point of the format, and CAPCE, our accrediting body will be observing the session.
– No CE credit for this session — it’s a preview and demonstration, not an accredited offering.
