Managing patients with serious burns is among one of the greatest challenges faced by healthcare providers. As EMS professionals we are responsible for making critical decisions at each step of patient care. The goal of this course is to establish a basic understanding of the different types of burns, how they affect the patient, and appropriate treatments and transport considerations.
