The purpose of this course is to understand how to interpret 12-lead ECGs in reference to identifying an ST elevation myocardial infarction, or STEMI. Although interpreting a 12-lead ECG can present a challenge to even the most experienced healthcare providers, this continuing education course will focus on a simplified approach to recognizing STEMI in the prehospital setting. This course is designed for EMS providers that already have a grasp on the basics of ECG interpretation.
