Managing a patient’s diabetic condition is a matter of balance. When balanced effectively, diabetes can be relegated to a minor inconvenience. When the balance is upset, however, the patient’s condition can quickly escalate to an emergency. In this lesson, we will discuss those diabetic emergencies and appropriate interventions and treatments.
